Sophia released an arrow towards Alkimos; the arrow passed just next to his left ear and caught some of his hair.
"Next one will be between your eyes!", she shouted at him.
Then she looked at Stelios. Her silver eyes were sparkling with determination and ambition.

Prochorus looked like he had an awful decision to make. He made his way over to the Aphrodite girls and started to talking to them. Much blushing, much eyelash waving etc.
He came back, rubbing the back of his head. He'd done what any young Greek man would do. Like seriously, totally in context. He'd whored himself out.
"I got 4 Aphrodite votes," he told Sophia, "2 of the others didn't want to play dice." He moved back to the middle again. It all depended on the Apollo and Demeter votes. Prochorus could sense Demeter disgust at the Ares son but they also wanted to make sure the quest suceeded, so...
"Demeter sides with Ares!"
(OOC: Iason will honestly decide the Apollo kids.)

Stelios just looked away from Sophia, grumbling and groaning to himself. He really didn't want to get involved in all this.
Suddenly, Alkimos menacingly marched over to Sophia after she had loosed an arrow that had nearly pierced his foot. The brute loomed over the girl, a fiery rage burning in his eyes, his grip around his spear tightening as he prepared to strike her. Everyone just watched, wide-eyed, unsure of what the Spartan was going to do.
Just before Alkimos made a move, Stelios stepped round the back of Sophia and placed his hands firmly on her shoulders in a fatherly like manner, supporting her.
"Back down Spartan or it will be me you face!" Stelios growled at Alkimos. The Spartan raised his spear to Stelios' chin, "don't test me runt! I'll beat back down to where you belong!" Alkimos' tone was equally threatening. "How many times Alkimos! No fighting here!" Smeme stepped across him, "back down!"
Reluctantly, Alkimos did as he was told, giving Smeme a menacing stare.

Sophia sighed relieved. She was ready to fight him but she knew he would have wiped the floor with her.
Stelios support gave her courage. She looked him in the eyes and smiled. Then whispered "Thank you. I won't forget that".

Alkimos grumbled to himself as he returned to the rest of the Ares clan.
"Don't mention it kid," Stelios mumbled as he retracted his hands.

It appeared the mercenary was coming out of his shell. However, the vote relied on Iason and his siblings now.

Iason shrugged. 'Oh who gives a shit. We'll all going to die anyway. I vote Sophia.'

The vote was done. Eurytus walked forward, drinking heavily. "The oracle, my dear. Top floor of the Temple House. Go, now. Then meet me on the porch. You may choose your companions there. After... the oracle," he sighed, turning away.
"Everyone else, back to your cabins."

Prochorus gave Sophia an uncertain look before trudging off with the rest of Hermes to their house.

Stelios gave a heavy sigh as he groaned to himself about what had just happened. His claiming, this whole quest thing, the voting, all of it. Such uproar over what he found to be insignificant. Begrudgingly, he trooped off after the other Ares kids. This was going to be fun.

Iason watched Sophia go with a foreboding heart before turning and heading back to the Apollo cabin.

Of course, Érika had remained quiet for most of the thing. What? She was there the whole time. She was originally going to abstain from the vote, but once Sophia was nomminated, Érika had broken her silence and had put in her vote for the female.
As everyone was parting ways, Érika, with her strange helmet under her arm, watched Sophia's back. There was a lump in her throat, but the overwhelming urge to say something forced her to call after the other demigod. "S-Sophia!" Érika gritted her teeth, suddenly feeling nervous. "... You've got this. Women can be strong, we can lead and we are smart. Now's your time to shine... I can already tell you can be all three of those things." Érika's face fell flat. She had tried to be encouraging but she felt embarrassed about her shabby words. Not waiting to see if Sophia had heard her or what her response would be, Érika turned and returned to the cabin to inspect her armour.

Sophia turned to Érika touched by her words. She called after her to thank her but the woman left quickly. Sophia sighed saddened but also felt very happy and relieved that someone believed in her. The girl made a mental note to find Érika later and talk to her.
Then she walked towards the temple house, her heart heavy.
