Sophia moved through the woods with Prochorus and Pollux. Her senses felt so sensitive here she could hear distant footsteps.
"I think there is a good force moving through the middle. A lot, I think, I'm not sure. WE should avoid them."

Prochorus felt good; in charge and confident. They could do this, he knew they could. "Okay, good. We'll skirt around them, avoid what? Six, eight, eight campers if it's Aphrodite and Hephaestus combined. I don't know, I'm not worried about-" he turned as they heard a rustle. Sophia pulled both him and Pollux aside, pointing ahead as a child of Apollo came out of the woods. Prochorus caught Pollux's eye and nodded.
It was over in a blur of motion. Prochorus sprinted for the child. The Apollo son turned with blinding speed and shot an arrow for Prochorus. It was an amazing shot, straight for Prochorus' sword arm but he just lifted his arm with quick reflexes and the arrow shot off. He knocked another in a second but Prochorus cut the bow down with his sword. The Apollo kid jerked back and tried to whip a knife out but vines grabbed his limbs and allowed Prochorus to slam his sword down onto helmet. He went down with a thunk.
Prochorus turned and signalled for them to move on. They crept quietly through the woods, Sophia presumably using her senses to map the path ahead.

Stelios remained with the rest of the Ares kids as they kept a vigil watch over their team's flag. If anyone were to approach, Androkles would spot them and they'd all be ready for the fight.

Well... unless they were children of Hermes or Demeter. The Hermes children were blessed with the skills of a thief; not invisibility but pretty damn close when they wanted. The Demeter children could also bend nature around them, helping them to remain unnoticed. At this point they were closing in on the Ares kids, remaining quiet and getting into position.
Meanwhile, Prochorus and Sophia were being led by Pollux. "We have a plan," he told them. "Damn Athena's, they always have something up their sleeve. Which is why we don't bet against them," he remarked, trudging up a slope. But we need you Sophia. WE don't have any fancy Apollo archers, so you're the one who'll help us get this off."
"Why am I here then?" Prochorus asked.
Pollux's eyes almost grinned. "You're the dumb muscle my friend. You're here to fight off any fools who think they have a chance against the children of Wisdom." Prochorus nodded, wishing his father would just claim him. He wanted to be a child of Athena, but that was a far off dream too. He didn't feel particularly smart. Maybe he was a child of a wind god. He'd had difficulty repeating his same trick in the sword arena but if his father would just claim him then he'd finally understand what he was capable of.
They continued to walk up to the hilltop.
(OOC: I'm expecting Iason to intercept me, give me a challenge etc. but if he takes too long I'll each the location unhindered.)

Suddenly several arrows shot through the trees. They hot one of the Hermes guys in the head and struck another's arm. No other movement came from the trees but things got much darker, like someone was taking away the light from the woods.

(OOC: Are we talking about the Hermes kids near the Ares flag? Because they are basically invisible dude unless you have superhuman sight to a divine standard. They're just camping there, not moving at all. And Prop, Sophia and Pollux are a three man group.)
Prochorus and Sophia glanced behind them as the light started to darken and the sound of arrows was heard.

Sophia's eye could see clearly through the dim light; her senses were stronger than ever in the woods. She took Prochorus and Pollux by the arms and lead them upwards. They reached a hill where they could see a good amount of the clearing.
"Down!" Pollux hissed, bringing them flat onto the ground. "That little Ares child's helmet. They use him as a scout. Only let him see you when it's time. Right, despite those arrows..." he peered over the ridge. "I think the Hermes kids are good. They didn't get the Demeter daughters."

Pollux grinned behind his helmet. "They got the Hermes distractions. Children of Hermes aren't seen unless they want to be. They can kinds cameoflague, go silent , when they're careful. That must mean the rest of the troops are in position." He clutched his helmet, his smiling growing even more. "Your favourite camper, Linos is in place too. We're nearly ready."
"How do you know?" Prochorus asked. Pollux jabbed at his helmet. "The Athena children invented a special method of communication through vibrations. The Hephaestus kids made it; bet they're regretting that now. Anyway, Sophia, we're going to need you to shoot soon. It's a distance of 700 metres. That's insane, normal Greek bows manage, well, half that on a good day I reckon. But you're using Olympian bronze and next to the Apollo children you're the best archer in this dump. We just need you to aim for one of the feet of the Ares kids. You'll also need fire."
He brought out some tools from his belt and started to make a small fire, summoning vines to wrap around it so it couldn't be seen from afar. Grapes grew on the vines, fat juicy ones, and Pollux gave them some as he focused on tending the flame. He brought a strip of cloth out and gave it to Sophia.
"Wrap that around an arrow. You get one shot at this." They waited for Smeme's signal.

The Heppy kids were busy fixing immobilising bombs to every tree they could see. Try worked their way foreard, using a device to scan for heat signatures. They then fed this to the Apollo archers, who made divine shots to take down those they encountered. They were making good progress.
Suddenly, a tree began to creep out. A branch flew out, impaling Iason. He cried out and the others noticed the attacking trees, Iason slammed his sword down, breaking the branch.
'Run forward! Stick together!' Statham called. They surged forward, the Heppy kids shouting out directions to avoid as trees swung at them. Iason dodged a branch and rolled, cutting through another as it swung a at him.
The Heppy kids started rubbing their hands together and fire appeared. They threw it into the trees and the forest started lighting up. It was time to burn their way to the flag. Status his controlled the light so it shone so brightly in front of them that any opponents would be blinded.

"Hey Argonian? Anything yet?" Alkimos grumbled. "N-nothing yet, no movements, though I thought I saw something on that ridge over there," Androkles answered. "Grr that probably means they're here, her ready everyone, they're about to attack," Alkimos growled.
All of them there gripped their shields tighter as they prepared themselves.

Pollux grinned as Smeme's vibration whispered in his ear. "Fire," he told Sophia.

Sophia stood up, aimed for just a second and fired. The fiery arrow went streaking through the air at intense speeds, right towards the feet of the Ares children.

Maybe a child of Ares saw it, and blocked it off their shield. Maybe one caught it. It didn't matter. The Demeter children had been reaching into the ground, using all their power to connect with the plants sticking up from the ground, unnoticed, and pumped them for oxygen. Pure oxygen was released in a burst into the air. Photosyntheisis at a ridiculous level. And when Sophia's fiery arrow hit the area... well.
It exploded the oxygen, with enough force to utterly decimate the Ares children. There was no dodging or stopping this. They went flying metres into the air. They were blown away from their shield wall in a destruction of chaos, like little toys. Athena's calculations were precise; just enough to send them flying, to perhaps knock a great many out but not to rip them apart or kill them. Either way, the flag was completely clear, and a bit damaged.
That's when Linos struck. With superhuman speed, he burst forward and grabbed the flag and darted back before it ran out. Then he sprinted for it. Hermes children exploded from the trees to defend his retreat, and Demeter kids too, sending flying thorns and vines to block the paths. Linos was flanked by two Hermes kids and Prochorus and Sophia were told to rush to his defence.
They went darting off the slope and flying into the tree after Linos and the flags as the Gold Camp was ruined.

Stelios and the other Ares kids hit the ground hard, each one of them knocked unconscious or at least heavily dazed, so much so that they couldn't pursue Linos and the others. Even Alkimos with his mighty strength had been blown away by the magical exploding oxygen but then again, it was magical.

Prochorus ran with Sophia through the woods after the flag but the forest was appearing to get darker and he felt a strong sense of uneasiness. That magical oxygen sure had been helpful!
