The footpaths may lead you up the cliffs, where the waves crash below and poplar trees are dotted around you. The air is bracing up here and a little thin. Though it affords a beautiful view, be careful of any storm spirits...

Iason trudged alone the cliffs, his pack heavy on his back. It was a beautiful day but that just made him sweat. It had been a week since they had left the camp and adventures were quickly proving to be troublesome things.

It had been a week, hadn't it... Prochorus sweated slightly as he walked higher into the foothills, his weapons hevay on his back.
"Holding up okay, Iason," he panted, stopping to rest.

'Wonderfully. It's like a cosy picnic walk here,' he replied sarcastically. He stopped and rubbed his feet as blisters healed rapidly. 'How about you?'

"I was never a fan of picnics," he replied sarcastically. He turned back, looking for the others.

Stelios hung at the back of the group, Aithon walking behind him. Stelios hadn't really got the hang of riding yet, he'd been a foot soldier after all and had never ridden one before. Aithon seemed a little disgruntled by his lack of activity thus far and kept butting his head into the back of Stelios as they walked.

Prochorus looked up into the sky, seeing an eagle circle. "Do you imagine Zeus uses eagles as messengers? Them being his sacred animal and all?"

Stelios looked up at the eagle. He just grumbled to himself but Aithon neighed up at the bird as if he were trying to have a conversation with. What about is anybody's guess but Aithon did let off a few cheerful whinnies as if he were laughing at something. The horse then butted Stelios again as he whinnied once more. Stelios gave Aithon a weird look, puzzled as to what was going on. (OOC Stelios is clearly the butt of the joke here ;P that was an accidental set up actually but I make no apologies for that one )

'Maybe,' Iason replied, staring at the eagle. 'He probably wants to make sure we won't mess this up.' He considered the eagle. 'I imagine Lord Zeus would be less subtle though.'

"Unless he wanted to show off," Prochorus said bitterly, walking forwards. He started walking along the golden cliff, staring at the crystal blue ocean. He led the way along, scanning for any weird mythological stuff. He thought he glimpsed a reflected light in the distance along the cliffs, but then it was gone.

Stelios too kept trudging along, Aithon still at his back. As the mercenary looked out over the crisp blue waters of the sea, he was greatly reminded of his home, now lost. Feeling slightly aggrieved, Stelios turned away from the ocean as he scowled.

Prochorus sat down on the edge of the cliff, reaching into his pack.
"No monsters so far, that's good." He took out some flatbread and started chewing it. "So, son of Ares and Apollo. What's that like?"

"Well I don't feel any different if that's what you mean," Stelios said as he too sat down on the cliff but a little way from the others. Aithon also folded his legs underneath himself as he flopped down with a grunt.

Prochorus nodded. "I meant more like, you know, were you expecting this? You were a soldier and all. I mean I can't even imagine who my father is." He turned a sly eye. "Any powers you've just become aware of?"

Sophia walked silent. It was quite unusual for her considering she could talk to a brick wall. Her mind was too preoccupied with everything happening. And this talk about the gods and what it is to be claimed by your godly parents were making her a bit bitter. One of her parents left her before birth and the other one was about to die according to a prophecy.
Sophia walked fast and passed the rest trying to get rid of her annoyance.
