Prochorus turned to Iason. "So what is your story anyway?" He smiled at Sophia. "And yours? I realise I don't know much about any of you, and the mercenary won't even give us his own name."
They continued up the cliffs, getting higher. The Aegean Sea was blue next to them, crashing gently against the cliffs. Poseidon must have been in a good mood. The weather was lovely, if a bit hot, but as they climbed higher, Prochorus started to see that reflection again. It looked like metal, or something... he frowned but pushed it from his mind and he turned back to the others.

Iason rubbed the hilt of his sword as he walked. 'My mother was always insistent that my father, Apollo I suppose, would come back and claim me. He would raise me as his own and raise me up. I assumed he was some great lord for a time.' Iason rubbed his chin. 'I eventually realised she was being foolish, but I must admit, that's why I sought to take on armies all alone, and become an archer to rival the great Apollo himself.' He pulled out his dagger and cut his hand. Blood dripped onto the stones. 'I'd be dead if it wasn't for this particular power,' Iason explained as the wound quickly healed.
'So, what other son stories do we have here?'

Stelios hung at the back, still grumbling to himself, half listening to what they were saying. He heard his name mentioned quite a few times and thought that very strange that they knew the name 'Stelios' considering that when he had been claimed, Eurytus had proclaimed him as 'Stylianos'. It infuriated him even further as he didn't recall ever telling any of them his name and their constant use of it only fueled his anger towards them. He just kept walking a few metres back from them, ignoring their comments directed at him and their opinions on the gods. He felt that no one could hate them more than he did. Prochorus was lucky to have only ever lost his mother the mercenary thought to himself.

Iason walked, his prophecy powers giving him insight into people's names. Not much else, but it was a fun party trick. With this, be alone at least, could identify Stelios as Stelios. Iason was unsure about Stelios' name. Was he Stylianos or Stelios? Was he Iolas or Iolaus? These questions haunted Iason as he walked. If nothing else, he was a great respecter of one's character decisions. It was guidance from the gods. But he did wonder if perhaps the gods would give him guidance, and his friends guidance, as to the right course to take. Iason wished to know Stelios as Stelios, as was his right some might say. But he wished for guidance for those around him, and then perhaps true harmony might be achieved.

"So you knew your father then?" He asked Iason. "I... I thought my mother mentioned mine too, but I've, I've suffered from Amensia for a while, and maybe it was just wishful thinking anyway he rambled. "What happened to you anyway? Like, with your healing? You said you were lucky to have it."
He glanced back at Stelios. It was annoying to him too that he hadn't actually mentioned his stupid name and had to keep writing 'the mercenary' when he should have revealed it already. It was a stupid name, dude, come on and also he didn't just lose his mother. And no, he hated the more, like times infinity. And his dad could fire his dad so there.

Sophia rolled her eyes at Stelios. She was really annoyed at him not revealing his name and she didn't know how she knew it but there you go. So annoying when you can't keep up with whose name you know and don't know.
"Uhm...I guess there isn't much about me. I am a princess, well bastard princess that grew up in Thrace and got dumped into a temple eventually. Wish I had more interesting story. I bet you have more interesting stuff to say", she smiled at him

Well, his father could fire your father. What's daddy going to do? Sue me? Iason mused randomly, thinking oddly enough of spiders and people called Os-born. It was a strange thought.
'Yes, I did,' Iason replied to Prop. (OOC: Imagine a southern accent) 'I knew my daddy. A great proprietor of chicken. He used to fry the chicken, and some in the south would call it fried chicken. He died to soldiers who wouldn't pay for this very unusual way of cooking it,' Iason explained. (OOC: Accent gone; he has returned to Greek American, or the Queen's Latin). 'Now it turns out he wasn't my father at all really. I obviously never knew Apollo. I liked my... stepfather. He was a good man but he died too soon, when I was ten. So I never really knew him.'
Iason shrugged and wiped his face, trying to hide a tear. 'Those same solidiers tried to kill me. That's when I discovered I had Apollo's blessing, and they ran. No one would interfere with the gods, even if they didn't quite believe in them, and hence my mother and myself became remarkably safe. It's why we survived so long without a man of the house, so to say.'

Suddenly, Iason collapsed. He fell to the ground and his eyes started glowing green. He shook in a frenzy as his voice became cold and harsh.
'A good friend lies ahead. He intends to help, but first you must pay him some respect.'
The green glow left Iason's eyes but he remained on the ground, looking shaken and pale-faced.

Iason's story was weird and made Prochorus see something that reminded him of fried chicken, like KFC. Anyway...
"Oh, everyone seems to have a stepfather," he blurted out. "I' sorry though, that's terrible." He turned to Sophia. "Well, I was a prince, a bastard prince, that grew up in Cyprus and I wad chased out by monsters who slaughtered my entire family, so our stories are pretty similar. But not interesting, unless you count horrific nightmares as interesting."
"Hey, all of you, did you ever encounter any monsters?" he asked, looking at Sophia, MERCENARY and Iason.

Sophia stared at Prochorus stunned, "Oh, I am so sorry. That's truly horrible. It's really not interesting. I had magical life compared to you."
Sophia looked away, really saddened.

Iason got up and wiped dirt off his face, pushing away the bad feeling in his stomach. 'Yeah, well, men are monsters. I've met enough of them.' He mused over what he had just said, considering what it meant. Who was there to meet? They had been walking a feet with nary a person to talk to.

Stelios was still hanging at the back with Aithon at his side. He had been staring out over the ocean, thinking of home. He hadn't really been paying attention to the others' conversation, his mind had been adrift.

(OOC: Suddenly, Iason felt power in his gut. It built from his chest and consumed him, making him feel stronger and more powerful. His skin began to glow, and his hands mostly. His mouth gaped open and he looked at his glowing hands slightly stupidly.
'No, no.' He didn't do anything about his glowing hands though except look at them. The sea began to rise and the dead burst from the earth. Iason started floating into the air as thunderclouds gathered. Lightning flickered over his fingers and Hades appeared, evil as sin. Typhon the god of monsters burst from a fiery shadow and leapt at Iason. With one mighty falcon punch Iason downed Typhon, doing what even Zeus couldn't do. Lightning consumed Typhon as the punch connected and then the sea swallowed him.
Iason grabbed Hades and punched him, once, twice, three times. Hades smiled up at him from the floor, his mouth bloody. 'Turns out I'm not the Disney Villain, Peter-Iason. You are.'
Iason's hands were glowing and he couldn't stop it. He was going to destroy the entire world! Suddenly, Zeus appeared, flying down from the sky. He gave Iason a brotherly look.
'You had to gain all our powers, and save the Oracle Iason. So that we could save the world.' (The other gods were there btw, except Ares who was shot like Matt Parkman when he tried to fight Hades stupidly.)
Zeus grabbed Iason and flew him into the sky where he blew up, lighting up Greece. That is how Heroes should have ended...
But Iason is back later! No memory, with a gangster gang in Persia. Season 2 coming soon!)

(OOC: I'm removing that ) "Was that a prophecy, Iason?" He helped the demigod up. "Can you do it again?" He looked back at Sophia as he held him up. "No worries, forget it. So you never saw any monsters?"
