Sophia lifted her shoulders. "I don't know. I mean I think I have always had in me but I guess my teacher was really good. But to be fair it's not a big deal-my father was great hunter and my brothers were just as good ."
She blushed a bit and looked down at her bow.

Stelios noted this newcomer as she addressed him. She carried the presence of a general, an air Stelios was had been used to being around.
"Fighting's fighting, I think I'll be fine," Stelios grumbled back at Smeme.

Linos happily bounded forward, a complete contrast to Smeme. Oddly, he might be the more dangerous one due to the fact he was actually missing half of his sanity. 'Wahoo! Demigods! Let's get some warm-ups going on!' He started doing jumping jacks at a ridiculous speed. 'Come on everyone! Let's get warmed up!'
(OOC: I assume everyone will start to follow suit, but feel free to post on how you feel about them after this post!)
'So,' he said in between insanely fast jumping. He switched to straight up splits and his face began to get red. 'As demigods we're too fast and too instinctive to stay in formation and play with shields! Monsters are too strong to just stay and hide behind a shield!' He twisted and did a backlip. 'Woo! Feeling crazy!' (Considering he always looked crazy, this wasn't a great thing.) 'So you need to move demigods! Show me how you twist those hips!' He girated furiously, until sweat ran down his face. 'Get out of the way! Dodge and strike quickly! Otherwise you're so dead, they won't even bother taking you to the Underworld. It's about moving quickly, getting out of the way, and striking with power!'
'So, who wants to spar me first! We'll use wooden swords for a start!' He looked mad, with his hair sticking up and his eyes bulging.

Smeme looked at Linos with distaste, before turning to Stelios. "You really believe that, soldier? Well step up then. Take on Linos." She looked at Sophia. "Impressive... for a target that doesn't move. We'll move you on to the real challenges." Her eyes were calculating, coming to the conclusion she was an Apollo child with a gift for archery.

Stelios did a couple of stretches before he cracked his neck and rolled his shoulders.
"Wooden swords!?" he seemed almost insulted, "I am a warrior, not a child, give a proper weapon for a proper fight, our enemies aren't gonna be fighting with wooden weapons after all."

Prochorus looked at both the instructors apprehensively. "Good luck," he muttered to Stelios.

'That was annoying good, Sophia,' Iason said in bemusement. 'Maybe you are a daughter of Apollo!'
When Linos started the training he did the jumping jacks, thinking it was all ridiculous and looking at the potential fight with interest. He thought Stelios was certainly confident.

For the first time, Linos looked like he might be sane. He smiled, and raised an eyebrow. 'You want a real weapon?' He pulled out his own sword, flipped it in the air and as it came down to his torso, he actually kicked it. It flew towards Stelios and stuck in the sand point first, quivering a little.
'Use my sword,' Linos told him, nodding at the weapon. 'I'll use a wooden sword. Wouldn't want to hurt you,' he said, without malice. It was just a fact.

As Stelios looked as if he was squaring off against the two instructors, Alkimos wandered over to inspect the fresh meat.
"Ha! Bunch of scrawny kids and a war veteran!" Alkimos scoffed at them, "you may be confident soldier, but you're no match for any of us, especially me," a confident and arrogant smile spread across his face.
"We'll see," Stelios just grumbled back at him as he picked up Linos' sword. It too was very light, just like the one he'd picked up off the rack. He turned away and placed the other sword back where he'd gotten it from before returning to face off against Linos.

Sophia smiled. Apollo was cool. But that would mean Seuthes was not her father. She frowned and looked at the woman.
"Okay give moving targets. I have hunted a lot and guess what-they were all moving", she added sarcastically.

Smeme looked at Alkimos with hate. "This is Alkimis, son of Ares. He was gifted with superhuman strength, so I wouldn't recommend wrestling him." She locked her eyes onto him and for just a second Alkimos' warrior instincts took over. He was a child of Ares, a soldier. She was his commander, technically. "Lay off the Alkimos. You can wave your dick around later," she said bluntly. She moved aside to let Stelios fight Linos, nodding at him with respect. And pity.
"Later," she told Sophia. "For now, see how we fight."

'Come on, Stelios. Begin,' Linos told, setting his feet apart just a bit. He held the wooden sword behind his back and looked supremely unconcerned. 'You want to fight; so lets fight.'

(OOC quick question: what are Linos' abilities?)

(OOC: Bursts of Superhuman Speed: This is like superstrength. A rare gift inherited from the God of Messengers, its allows demigods to burst forward as a couple of hundred miles per hour, making them a blur to anyone who looks at them. A faint golden glow emits off them as they activate it. However, it is bursts of seconds. Then it can take minutes to recharge. It is not an ability to be used lightly. Furthermore, it does not extend to speeding up limbs. You make entire body movements. No Flash tornadoes, sadly.
Good luck!)

(OOC you've given him two? I thought if you chose superspeed that was your lot? It says that in its description?) Fates did fuck up. It's just superspeed.
