"Who ever said I was in the army?" Stelios gave Prochorus a cold stare.

Prochorus didn't like that cold stare. That was prickling his pride. "I thought it was obvious? You're a mercenary, you're well trained, I assumed you were in the army. Anyway, I heard most Greek men were conscripted."

Iason had already headed to bed. He was a proto hipster. He knew it was daylight but, without fail, he always woke up as soon as the sun rose. In sunny Greece, this wasn't helpful so he tended to go to bed early. Not because he got tired; he always felt wakeful in the sun. Just because Iason took pride in being unusual. If glasses existed, Iason would probably be wearing a suitable hipster version. As it was, he just had to make do with coloured sandals and a bandana around his head like some Olympic athlete.

"Hmm," Stelios grumbled, taking another sip from his cup.

Prochorus raised his eyebrows. "That's not exactly an answer." He leaned forward, pointing a finger at Stelios. "We're on a quest together, which could get us all killed, and I don't even know you're name!" He vented. "Were you in the army, yes or no? Did you see monsters before? Give me something," he said, angry, desperate and demanding at the same time.

"I pledged my sword to protect you all, you don't need anything else from me," Stelios continued to sip his drink.

Prochorus nodded. "Okay, fine," he said stiffly. He stood up from the table, clenching his fists so hard they shook. "I'm going to take a walk. I'll see both of you tomorrow by the docks." He moved swiftly past the various tables and wrenched the door open. He was annoyed and on edge, sure there was an attack coming at any moment. And the mercenary was getting on his nerves.
He was going to explore the town.
(OOC: I'm ready to day skip unless anyone else wants to stay here?)

Stelios just raised an eyebrow at the child as he stormed off.

Sophia looked at Stelios judgingly, "Really? Was that neccessary? We just asked you a simple question-whether you have seen monsters before. That's not really being nosy in your personal life. It's a relevant question considering we have to battle monsters." Then her faced softened and she smiled. "You and Prochorus are the most proudfull people ever. It's going to get you both killed one day. You know I thought my dad was the proudest person ever and the most stubborn. He would never take anyone's advice and even though I admire that, I think it's not the best approach especially for a king."
She shook her head slowly. "But anyway, you probably don't want to hear about my dad or my life. Do you think the ship is safe to travel with? I mean, Iason mentioned something about the captain being weird. Don't want to deal with another Nereus to be honest" . Sophia looked around suspiciously.

Stelios just shrugged at Sophia's little rant about pride, even it was valid.
"No the captain just talks like sea-folk is all," he told her, "so there's no need to worry," he nodded reassuringly at her.
He turned away for a moment, sighing heavily before he turned back to face her, his face quite sad, "I have my reasons for being so quiet kid, but er...don't think you can't talk to me if you need someone to listen, I'm not a stone statue," he smiled wryly at her.

Big smile appeared on Sophia's lips and her eyes sparkled. "Aww, look at you all softie.", she said and punched him playfully in the arm. "Thanks, Stelios, this means a lot coming from you. I knew I could rely on you. And don't worry, have your reasons, but one day when you decide to talk about it don't hesitate to speak to me."
She yawned and looked around. "I think I may go to my room and have some rest. Couldn't sleep well in that cave. I really thought something would come in and get us."
Sophia got up and waved at him for goodbye. Then went to her room and made sure it's properly locked.

Stelios jokingly rolled his eyes as Sophia jabbed him in the arm. He nodded at her as she bid him goodnight and he turned back to the bar, refilling his cup.

(New Day)
Prochorus got up from bed, rubbing his eyes. Flashes of previous battles had filled his dreams. Reality wasn't much better; he felt a bit beset, with the quest and the aggression from Stelios. And then there was his father to contend with. Zeus, maybe. Just, that was too much to think about now.
He sat up and got ready, grabbing all his supplies and headed to the docks. The morning was very windy but the sea smelt fresh and only small clouds were in sight. Wispy, so it'd probably be warm. He ran a hand through his hair and waited for the others.

Sophia walked to the docks next to Prochorus yawning and rubbing her eyes; she couldn't sleep too well this night either. "When are we off to?", she asked him.
